I am a veterinary assistant at EOAH and currently a 3^rd year Veterinary Technician student at Thompson Rivers University in the distance program.  I was a human nurse for 10 years before making a career change to Animal Nursing.  I love being around animals and care about their health and wellbeing.  Whether it be providing care during a newborn’s first breaths at the beginning of life or providing palliative care to animals during their last breaths at the end of life, or providing care during all the life stages in between, veterinary medicine is such a heart-warming and gratifying career.

I am married, have twin girls and a dog named Harley.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family, hiking and being outdoors, fitness/going to the gym, obstacle course racing and coaching gymnastics.
